May 28, 2018 (Evening) – Brush Fire

This afternoon around 4:50 pm, MRW Fire was paged out for a controlled burn that got out of control near mile marker 15 on Hwy 78. It’s estimated the fire burned about 7 acres.

Units Responding: Command 550, Heavy Brush 562, Brush 563, Tactical Tender 523, Tender 527, QRU 540 and POVs.

We had a great turn out of volunteers!
